My college friend asked me to meet up, after already long time we are not meet up! Yeah, she’s really good friend, and of course we should keep in touch. But, for young people like us, of course we have not big money, for meet up in high pricey cafe.
And~ we choose the cheap, easy, tasty and pretty cafe! Yep, that was Humble Break Coffee Bar and Spa! If you see the interior, you won’t guess the price is that cheap. But yes, it’s so affordable. Actually, not all part of this cafe is interior. almost half of them is outdoor. Really fit for Bali’s season that always warm, sunny, and dry for 6 months.
And yes, we choose to chilling out in outside area. For me, outside area is always more unique than indoor area. You can feel the fresh air, can see so many plants, and can laying down your back on the comfy beanbag. So many tropical plants out there, and you will feel like you are take your meal on small tropical jungle. You will feel like, “oh my God, I really on tropical island right now”. The lighting actually so simple, just some yellow small bulbs, but so pretty, and I got the romance ambiance on it. That place is really good for dating!
But, if you are prefer indoor area, don’t worry, the indoor area also have so pretty and tropical interior.
The interior of this cafe is far from modern word. You can see, most of material that they use is wood, and iron. And the plafond, they put traditional bamboo woven plafond named Bedeg. And the floor, the just poured the floor by concrete cement, let it natural without cover it by ceramic or something. So, we can say, they applied industrial style for the interior. Industrial style is really popular nowadays for cafe, because it’s so simple, pretty cheap I guess, and really fit for boy. Yeah, I think, their marketing target is boy, because they sell so many kind of coffees.
They sell the coffees that they proccess it by their self, and you can see coffee machine on their open kitchen. So good for you who really love coffee! When I checked their menu, they sell so many kind of coffees such as espresso, americano, macchiato, and many more. They also have their own special coffees, such as avocado espresso, matcha espresso, and many more! Wow, I regretting my self because I was not ordering coffee.
But, I ordered this! This one is their newest menu. It called Nasi Tuna Sambal Matah. It fusion food, because they put traditional Balinese sambal matah on tuna. Sambal matah is made from chilli, onion, lemongrass, sugar, salt, and oil. Oh, it was so tasty, and spicy. So fit on Indonesian’s taste. And my friend ordered small pizza. The pizza also has fusion taste, half European, and half Indonesian. So tasty and cheap!
So yeah, if you are staying in Legian and Kerobokan area, I recommend you to come here. Their staffs also so friendly! I will come again, of course!
