I can’t realized that 2019 already ends, and we need to be ready for 2020. I really appreciated my 2019, even tough so many terrible happened in my life before. But, I can’t refused that so many happiness also I got. Yeah, let’s we celebrate our past life and all experienced that we had before.

I went to Kuta Beach with my friend. Actually, I had plan to go snorkeling in Dec 31th 2019, but suddenly my friend canceled it. Yeah, little bit sad, but it’s okay. I called my other friend to make a new plan. And then, we decided to visit Kuta Beach for see fireworks. Yeah, Kuta Beach is really famous place to celebrate New Year, because they have so many and big fireworks. But, as a famous place and so many people wanna come there, makes that place so crowded! So many people from local until foreigner tourists came there. I recommend you to come around 7-8 p.m.
Because of that, the government already had planned to closed some streets. They also shared the map, which place that we can through forward. If you have plan to celebrate new year next December, you should looking for the map. You can check it on social media, such as instagram and facebook. But if you don’t get it, or you don’t understand the map, don’t worry. So many policeman right there will give you the right direction.
And… yeah. It’s actually not my first time visited Kuta. Of course not, I was studying and working in Kuta so I can say that I am so bored with Kuta. But, at that night, Kuta looks so different. No motorcycles, no cars. All people walk around there. All shop and mall opened, and they had colorful lighting. Ambiance was so good. Makes us felt so happy and powerful.
We also bought funny bunny headband (usamimi). It costs cheap also, just around IDR 20000 until IDR 50000 (USD 1.4 until USD 3.5). So funny, we love it because it means we are not kidding to celebrated new year! But you can choose the other headbands, because they sold so many types. The cute one is unicorn headband, but I don’t buy it.
We can also enjoyed local street foods, such as Mie Ayam (chicken noodle), Bakso (meatball), Siomay, and many more. So you still can try local food right there.
The main event is at 12:00 o’clock. So, we should wait for it. After tired walked around in main street, we decided to sit down in beach. So many people also did the same thing.
Already 12:00 0’clock and…. yeah! so many fireworks! So big and close from us! it’s like they are exploded above of our head, and so pretty!
Everyone recorded it, enjoyed it and shouted because so happy. I also did it. It was really good day to me. Good day to finished year, and started the new one.
The fireworks party ends, and we decided to go back home. Turned back home is little bit difficult, because so crowded is street. We should be patience until the we can get our turn to go forward.
Yeah… I love to celebrate new year in Bali. I hope you guys can try it next year!
