So, I already thought about several times, to decided what will I upload for the first time. So yeah, I will post this trip for you. I had visited Bali Zoo, Gianyar.
Maybe, you curious about how is zoo in Bali looks like. Is it good? Is it interesting? What kind of animals they have? Is it looks similar with zoo in my place?
I came there with my Japanese friend, Hiro. He came to Bali for took Bahasa course, for 3 months. It was really a good time because we can visited so many places in Bali! And Bali Zoo is our first trip. We spent 1 hour from Sanur, by car. Bali Zoo is located in Singapadu, Gianyar.

For passed the time, Hiro and I talked about so many topics, about Bali and Japan. His Bahasa maybe not in advance level yet, but we already can understand each other. He was studying so hard, though. And me? Yeah, my Japanese is suck, and I always asked him, “what is it in Japanese??” maybe he got pissed off. I hope not.
Okay, back to the Bali Zoo. Yeah, we are so excited! Then we bought the tickets.
“Do you have Indonesian ID card?” The staff in locker asked to us.
“I have, but my friend’s not,” I answer.
“Ya, it’s okay. Because we have special price for people who have Indonesian ID card.”
“Lucky me!”
Hiro can’t understand, but he smelled something fishy. “Why you got cheaper price than me?”
“…” I can’t answer.
And we moved to elephant place. Yeah, it was my first time to see elephant in front of my eyes. So big! Bali Zoo has 13 elephants in their zoo. Wow, it must be difficult to handling them all. Hiro and I also tried to ride the elephant. So nervous!
After that, we saw an animal show. But, I actually forget what the name of that animals!
And, I want to give advice to you. If you want to visit zoo, please don’t come in noon. Because it’s time for them take a nap! Yeah, I was wrong to choose the time. I am so sad because I can’t see tiger because they are took a nap when I came. The bear also too lazy to go outside the cage because too hot outside! So we can’t see them also. The perfect time is at 3 p.m, when they have snack time.
We also had lunch in their restaurant. It was unique restaurant, because beside of restaurant is lion’s cage. We can see lion playing while take dinner. So unique and crazy.
After took lunch, we walked around again. The view is so good. So many plants and trees. That place can release your stress. So calm, not really so crowded when I came. But, That place is so big. The animals also so funny and cute. They made our face looks so surprised. Ah! We can feed some animals! Not all, but we can feed deer, and turkey. We also can ride the pony horse.
I always asked Hiro to took photos of me. Hehehehehe.
Yeah I will uploading photos and video for you, so you can see how great Bali Zoo is. For me, I will give 8.5 for Bali Zoo!
